Our Guide to Aquaria KLCC: How to Plan Your Day Without the Chaos
If you've ever walked into Aquaria KLCC without a plan, you'll know the feeling , doubling back, missing shows, leaving feeling like you didn't quite see everything. After visiting with a toddler and a baby, here's the schedule that worked for us. One direction, no backtracking, hit all the key shows.
Why 10:30am?
Get there at 10:30am. Early enough to beat the school groups and weekend crowds, and it puts you perfectly in time for the first feeding show at 10:45am right from the entrance. No rushing, no squeezing through people.
Our Schedule
10:45am — Touch Pool Feeding This is the very first station from the entrance so you'll walk straight in and land here. Kids can get up close and it's a gentle, calm start before things get busier further in.
11:15am — The Stream: Otter Show Head to The Stream for the Asian Small-Clawed Otter feeding and health inspection. Honestly one of the highlights, the otters are active, curious and the kids were completely fixated. Don't skip this one.
11:15am onwards — Explore the Other Zones & Aqua Tunnel After the otter show, take your time moving through the rest of the zones. The Aqua Tunnel is a must! Walking underneath the fish and rays with the kids is something else entirely.
12:00pm — Daily Feeding Show at Aquatheatre The main event. Divers go into the tank and hand-feed the fish while a commentator explains what's happening. We captured this on our YouTube — watch it here: Aquaria KLCC Feeding Show
12:15pm — Station Aquarius: Jellyfish & Seahorse End on a quieter, more beautiful note. The jellyfish tanks are mesmerising and this section tends to be less crowded by the time you arrive here.
Tips for Visiting with Kids
Follow the schedule in order . Aquaria is designed as a one-way flow, so going in sequence means you naturally catch each show without backtracking
Arrive at 10:30am to avoid peak crowd hours
Bring a carrier or stroller — there's a fair amount of walking and it gets dim in some sections
Weekday visits are noticeably quieter than weekends
Special Feeding Days
If you can visit on Monday, Wednesday or Saturday, there are special feeding sessions for the Arapaima and Shark — worth planning around if you have a fish-obsessed little one at home.
